Green Protein Smoothie

This is my favorite go-to summer smoothie recipe. I find that it’s easy to make smoothies with just fruit, and while that tastes delicious, it’s important to balance the sweetness with veggies, healthy fats, and protein. This is a great mid-morning or afternoon snack, especially if you find yourself mindlessly munching (or reaching for that chocolate chip cookie)….

Green Protein Smoothie

Packed with protein and veggies, this is the ultimate way a smoothie should be enjoyed!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond, hemp or coconut milk
  • 3 strawberries
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/3 cup frozen kale
  • 1/3 cup frozen cauliflower rice
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 scoop favorite protein powder (I love PaleoValley and Epic)
  • Additional water as needed

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except water in a blender, blend on high.
  2. Add additional water as needed to reach desired consistency.
