Protein Chai Latte
This has long been my favorite morning drink ever since giving up caffeine several years ago. I needed something that replaced that morning ritual of making coffee, but also had body the way that coffee does. Plain tea just doesn’t cut it in the morning for me (too watery) - and I have heard similar feedback from many folks. You can also use the LMNT Chocolate Salt instead of the cacao and maple syrup in this recipe, it’s delicious!

Protein Chai Latte
Ingredients
- 12 oz double-brewed chai rooibos tea
- 2 oz creamer of choice (use your favorite coffee creamer)
- 1 tsp cacao powder
- 1 scoop collagen peptides
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- ¼ tsp ghee
- Pinch cinnamon
Instructions
- Brew 2 chai rooibos tea bags in a large mug with 12 oz boiling water, steep for 5 minutes, then remove tea bags.
- Heat the creamer until just steaming, remove from heat.
- To the creamer, add cacao, collagen, maple syrup, and ghee - blend until frothy with handheld frother (or use a blender).
- Pour cream mixture over tea, add a sprinkle of cinnamon and enjoy!
